Inspirational Cloud Mini Book

One of my good friends went through major surgery last year and I made 3 homemade dishes for her and put together a basket with goodies like different coffee mixes, cookies and chocolates.  In the center I placed this inspirational mini for her.  She is very special, hard working, loves her family and I wanted to remind her what the important things are when in a stressed times.

Joining in on all the fun!!

This is my first post, a little nerve-wrecking I might say which is why I have been postponing this for a few months now, but decided to go for it and join the blogging world.  You will see on this blog the creations I have made as well as some randomness (there is always something random).  Your comments are welcome, but play nice.

I have always enjoyed creating, my creative streak comes from my mom, she enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, planting and some decorating.  She never liked us to just be sitting doing nothing, I can remember her teaching me how to crochet on a summer road trip.   The younger ones of my siblings and I were fortunate enough to take artistic classes.  I have taken knitting, oil painting, drawing, ceramics, cooking, baking and scrapbooking. I have also tried watercolor, beading and decorating, if I see something that I like I give it a try regardless of the medium.  I also get my creativity from my dad, you see he was a carpenter for many many years, he built and designed furniture for his own furniture stores. 

There are so many amazing artists out there that have inspired me as well, gotta love the internet.
