May Tag Swap

Here is the tag I made for the May Tag Swap hosted by Arlene from Butterfly Kisses, (beach theme).  This is my very first swap and I hope everyone likes it, since I am a simple scrapper it's hard for me to embellish a lot,  I don't want to overwhelm what I make and I hope to get over this fear in the future.  Anyway, it was fun to make and I can't wait to see my group's tags.

Have fun creating!

Last year's Teachers Gifts

Here is one of the 3 different Inspirational Minis I made for the teachers last year.  I also added Hersey's Milk Chocolate Nuggets with Toffee and Almonds in sour cream containers, but forgot to take pics of them :(

Working not Neglecting

I didn't forget about my blog, currently working on a Tag Swap and a Card Swap as well as the teachers gift and have been literally waking up in the middle of the night with ideas.  Panic is starting to kick in because I over-think everything I create trying to perfect what I make as to not disappoint the recipients.  Starting to prioritize so I need to finish and Tags (7 total) this week so I can mail out on Monday.  The teachers gifts (14 sets of 4 total) will need to be done at the same time as the Cards (8 total).  Now you see why I am starting to panic!?!

In the mean time I leave you with these two cards I made for my sisters, both have May bdays.

This was made a while back, started with the scallop bottom, thought it was too plain, added more paper...hmm...still plain, decided to wrap ribbon around the widest stripe...still not convinced, added the stars and bling to offset the weight of the bow and sentiment...now I think it's too much but mailed it anyway.  Well my sister liked it so now I'm ok with it. :)

I tend to start very simple, then add little by little.  With this card I decided that it was just right...sound like Goldilocks...just right.

Cupcake Mini

When I found out that my niece's sweet little girl was having a Pinkalicious 8th Birthday party and I immediately knew what to make her:  a Pinkalicious Cupcake Mini.  She is as smart as a whip, funny AND already started scrapbooking, what's not to love!

Until next time and don't forget to have fun creating.

Too much to do, too little time/Mini

Hello all!

It's Monday again, and not feeling very inspired, it might be that I am trying to do 5 things at a time.  Need to work on end-of-year thank you gifts for teachers.  My son has 14 different teachers, it is overwhelming because I want to make something personal.  I have an idea and will post a picture of a sample as soon as I get going.

Also need to work on greeting cards that I want to sell, not to mention mini scrapbooks, and to top it off Mother's Day is literally right around the corner.  Then trying to schedule a week long camp for my son and two trips for this summer.  You see I'm exhausted again!!!

For now I will share a mini I made for by brother-in-laws wife, she loves her 1969 VW Beetle that she named Bessie, so I made this for her.

For some reason I took the pictures before I added large bling for each headlight.  My oops!

Have a great day and don't forget to have fun creating!!!
